Applications Developer (Java/C++)

SciSys have a number of vacancies for self motivating Application Developers to contribute to a range of exciting projects within our Government and Defence Division

Essential skills:

• Degree in engineering, computer science or scientific discipline
• Java or C++
• SQL
• XML
• Experience of the software lifecycle
• Understanding of software quality e.g. coding standards, unit testing

Desirable skills:

• Tomcat
• Knowledge of relational databases (preferably ORACLE)
• ORACLE Data Guard

Any other information e.g. dual location, special security clearance, foreign languages:

• Must be eligible to work in the UK
• Must either have SC clearance already or be able to obtain it immediately
