Applications Developer (Web/.Net)

SciSys have a number of vacancies for self motivating Application Developers to contribute to a range of exciting projects within our Government and Defence Division.

Essential skills:

• Degree in engineering, computer science or scientific discipline
• JavaScript
• HTML
• CSS
• XML
• XSLT
• SQL
• Experience of the software lifecycle
• Understanding of software quality e.g. coding standards, unit testing

Desirable skills:

• VB.Net
• C#
• Java
• Knowledge of relational database (i.e. ORACLE or SQL-Server)
• Solaris Scripting

Any other information e.g. dual location, special security clearance, foreign languages:

• Must be eligible to work in the UK
• Must either have SC clearance already or be able to obtain it immediately
