Overview:

Under relatively close direction, perform a variety of specific professional mission systems engineering tasks of an analysis, design, or test nature.

Job Description:

Apply theoretical knowledge and engineering techniques to the solution of basic analytical engineering problems. Select and/or modify proven methods, mathematical formula, previous design and test information, handbook data or other available information related to the assignment. Prepare and complete the design of components or portions of moderately complex functional systems working from overall operational, space, functional and similar design requirements. Design and document or select commercially available equipment, coordinate design results with other design groups, evaluate the merits of the design under the direction of more senior engineers and make the changes and compromises indicated. Establish test procedures in accordance with test plans and test requirements.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:
Bachelors of Science in Engineering (in Aerospace, Systems, or related Engineering discipline)

Preferred Qualifications:
TS/SSBI clearance strongly preferred
Master of Science degree in Engineering preferred

Required Education/Experience:
A Bachelors Degree (BA/BS) in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Physics.
No experience required.
