For one of our clients we are looking for a

SPACECRAFT CONTROLLER (M/F)

Tasks and responsibilities:

• The candidate will be responsible for the commanding and monitoring of telemetry in the frame of spacecraft mission operation.
• He or she will be in charge of the spacecraft data analysis and mission operation preparation.
• The spacecraft controller will monitor the ground segment, network components and software applications, including the troubleshooting and recovery of ground segment and operational software.
• The job requires shift work within a 24/7 schedule.

Qualifications and experience:

• The candidate needs to be experienced in real time spacecraft operations.
• Knowledge with mission operation software – SCOS and procedure handling are necessary
• You should be familiar with Windows and Unix based systems.
• Fluency in English and German, the ability to work in international teams together with a high degree of autonomy and a pro-active and confident personality is needed.

You should have at least an education in the IT or Telecommunication area.
